Main Buildings of Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum
The Sacrificial Hall: It is one of the most important buildings in Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum. The interior is solemn and respectful. In the center, there is a seated statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and the base is engraved with six relief sculptures showing the life stories of Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
The Burial Chamber: Located behind the Sacrificial Hall, the body of Dr. Sun Yat-sen is placed in a marble coffin in the burial chamber, which is worth paying homage to.
The Music Platform
It has an elegant shape and is a supporting project of Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum. The architectural style of the Music Platform combines Chinese and Western characteristics. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful scene of white pigeons flying and there will be various music performances held irregularly.
Meiling Palace
Its official name is “the former site of the official residence of the chairman of the national government” and it is called “Meiling Palace” because Soong Mei-ling often lived here. The decoration inside the official residence is elegant and luxurious, and the furnishings are exquisite, showing the architectural art and living style of that time.
Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum
As an outstanding representative of ancient Chinese imperial mausoleum architecture, it has profound historical and cultural heritage. Ticket Information
Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum itself is free to visit, but it needs to be reserved in advance. Some scenic spots such as Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Music Platform, and Meiling Palace are charged separately.
The full price ticket of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is 70 yuan/person, and the half price ticket is 35 yuan/person; the full price ticket of the Music Platform is 10 yuan/person, and the half price ticket is 5 yuan/person; the full price ticket of Meiling Palace is 30 yuan/person, and the half price ticket is 15 yuan/person.
Opening Hours
The opening hours of each scenic spot in Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum are generally from 8:30 to 17:00 (entry stops at 16:30, and the specific time is subject to the actual announcement of the scenic spot). It is recommended to plan the itinerary in advance and book tickets.
