Leshan Giant Buddha: It is the landmark attraction of Leshan tourism and the largest stone-carved sitting Buddha in the world. Visitors can go down along the Nine-bend Plank Road to the feet of the Giant Buddha to experience its grandeur up close. They can also overlook the magnificent scene of the confluence of three rivers at the platform of the Buddha’s head. The Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River converge here, and the different colors of the river water form a unique landscape.

Tourist Tips
It is recommended that after buying the scenic area tickets, visit Lingyun Temple first to feel the solemnity of Buddhist culture, then go down along the plank road to the feet of the Giant Buddha to enjoy the full view of the Giant Buddha and take photos, and finally visit the Mahao Cliff Tombs. The whole tour process takes about 3 4 hours. Wear comfortable shoes as there is a long way to walk.

Main Attractions
Baoguo Temple: The first temple on Emei Mountain, with magnificent architecture. There are many cultural relics treasured in the temple, and the environment is quiet and beautiful. It is a good place to understand the Buddhist culture of Emei Mountain.
Qingyin Pavilion: Located at the foot of Niuxin Ridge of Emei Mountain, surrounded by mountains and water, with pavilions and towers, the scenery is very beautiful. The black and white waters converge here, forming a unique natural landscape. The flowing water gurgles like the echo of a zither, making it a good place for summer vacation and leisure.
Golden Summit: The main peak of Emei Mountain, with an altitude of 3079 meters. Here, visitors can watch the four magnificent wonders of sea of clouds, sunrise, Buddha’s aureole and holy lamps. The statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the Golden Summit is even more magnificent and shines brightly in the sunlight.
Tourist Tips
If you have enough time, you can arrange a two-day trip to Emei Mountain. On the first day, start from Baoguo Temple, take the scenic area sightseeing bus to Wuxiangang parking lot, walk to Qingyin Pavilion, enjoy the natural scenery along the way, and then return to Wuxiangang after visiting, take the sightseeing bus to Leidongping, and walk or take the cableway to the Golden Summit and stay there for one night. Get up early on the second day to watch the sunrise and other wonders. If you are short of time, you can choose a one-day tour, directly take the sightseeing bus and cableway to the Golden Summit, visit and then go down the mountain, but you will miss some beautiful scenery along the way.
